Former Haryana minister and state BJP spokesperson Krishan Murti Hooda today launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing it of demoralising the Armed Forces by questioning Operation Sindoor and the recent ceasefire.

He claimed that instead of appreciating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s courage and decisive leadership, the Congress is eroding its remaining public support.

“PM Modi dared to strike terrorists inside Pakistan for which the entire nation is praising his leadership and the valour of the India’s Armed Forces. Unfortunately, certain Congress leaders are raising doubts about the ceasefire, playing into the hands of anti-national narratives,” said Krishan Murti in a release.

The former minister emphasised that the PM had delivered on his promises, enhancing both national and international stature after Operation Sindoor. “Modi is a man of his word and is committed to eliminating terrorism from India,” he added.

The BJP leader criticised Haryana Congress leaders for previously opposing the amendments to the Waqf Board Bill and now questioning Operation Sindoor and ceasefire. He warned that such statements hurt the morale of soldiers and would cost the Congress dear in elections.
