For the counting of votes, 14 tables will be set up, with each table handling one ward’s vote count. The process will involve 16 rounds of counting to cover all 32 wards. After six rounds, results for the first 14 wards will be announced. By round 11, the results for all 28 wards will be finalised. The counting for the remaining wards (29, 30, 31, and 32) will be completed by the 16th round. The chairperson results are expected between 12 pm and 12.30 pm, once all 143 booths have been counted.

There are seven candidates competing for the post of chairperson, including BJP's Shanti Swarup Valmiki, Congress' Jaswinder Kaur, INLD's Om Parkash Kmeti Wala, AAP's Kavita Nagar, JJP's Praveen Turkia, and Independent candidates Rajender Kumar and Ashok Chindaliya.

The election has seen full-fledged campaigning, with the BJP putting all efforts into the race, with support from the Chief Minister and other ministers. The Congress, on the other hand, has only had the backing of Congress MLA Gokul Setia, who campaigned vigorously for his supported candidates.

The results of the election are highly anticipated, as it will show the political strength of key figures such as former MLA Gopal Kanda and MLA Gokul Setia. If the BJP wins the chairperson’s post and secures a majority in the wards, it will prove Gopal Kanda's continued relevance in Sirsa, despite his loss in the state elections. However, if the BJP loses, it will be a major blow to Kanda’s position. For the Congress, a victory will strengthen MLA Gokul Setia’s position and enhance his ability to drive development in Sirsa, proving his popularity.
