Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leaders and workers celebrated the party’s 46th foundation day in Kurukshetra on Sunday, hoisting the party flag at the district office.

BJP district chief Tajender Singh talked about the party’s history, struggles and achievements at the event.

He said, “The journey of the BJP has always been dedicated to national interest, social harmony and national security. The party has always been firm on its principles, and has been continuously working to serve the country.”

Singh hailed the party’s 46-year journey as a “struggle to success” journey, and called upon party workers to strengthen the party and take forward the objectives of the party strongly.

He said the Narendra Modi-led government had given a new direction of development to the country, and had started many schemes for the welfare of every section of society.

An exhibition was organised on this occasion to display the party’s history, struggles and works done by it.

At the event, party workers pledged to fulfil the objectives of the party, and expressed their commitment to work continuously towards strengthening the BJP.

The district chief said, “The BJP is not just a political party, it is a movement which works for the overall development of the country and the strengthening of society. I urge party workers to carry forward their work according to the principles of the party, and work hard to extend the benefits of the government’s schemes to every section of society.”
