People in Sirsa district are frustrated after Cabinet Minister Anil Vij, who chairs the District Grievance Committee, once again skipped the meeting scheduled for October 31. The session was cancelled due to the “Run for Unity” programme, leaving residents disappointed as they had been waiting for months to raise their complaints directly before the minister. This is the second time this year that such a meeting has been postponed because of Vij’s absence. Many residents say they had high hopes that his personal intervention would finally bring action on long-pending issues.
