Sirsa city in Haryana was shaken by a loud explosion past Friday midnight around 12:15 am, triggering panic among residents. Soon after the blast, an increased activity of the Indian Air Force and police teams was observed across the city. The situation has raised serious security concerns, especially after parts of a damaged aerial object were found in two areas — Rania Chungi Khajakhera and Firozabad Chaksaheba.

The debris found at both sites resembled broken metallic parts, and both locations are about 16 km apart. In Firozabad, the pieces were found near a gurdwara, which drew a large crowd early in the morning. Air Force teams reached the spots, collected the debris, and took it into their custody for investigation. Officials have not provided any further details yet.

Adding to the confusion, another loud blast was heard in Sirsa around 8 am on Saturday morning.

A government vehicle loaded with the debris of the missile recovered from a field at Firozabad village in Sirsa district.

On Friday night, in the Indira Colony area near Rania Road, locals reported seeing a red drone-like object descending from the sky before a sudden, powerful explosion. According to a resident, Ravinder, he and others were on the rooftop when they saw the object. The blast that followed was so intense that people were left terrified. An ambulance and Air Force personnel arrived promptly, but the administration later stated that nothing conclusive was found at the site. However, some CCTV footage and videos captured by locals have been circulating on social media.

In response to the incidents, the authorities have issued a high alert in Sirsa and nearby districts, including Hisar. Burn wards have been arranged in three Hisar hospitals in case of fire-related injuries, and preparations are being made to handle any emergency situation. A blackout was observed in parts of Sirsa overnight as a precautionary measure.

To manage the situation more efficiently, the district administration has established two round the clock control rooms for emergency coordination and public communication. These control rooms will help monitor developments and ensure timely responses to any further incidents. Citizens have been requested not to spread rumors and to trust only official information issued by the authorities.

Meanwhile, SDM Arpit Sangal held a meeting with municipal ward members in Dabwali, instructing them to keep street and public lights switched off at night and assist in spreading awareness among residents. The councillors promised full cooperation and public support. Officials continue to monitor the situation closely while urging residents to stay calm and vigilant.
