The Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) portal tampering racket in Jhajjar is back in the spotlight following startling revelations in a supplementary chargesheet filed by the district police recently. The findings indicate a large-scale misuse of the PPP system by some Citizen Resources Information Department (CRID) employees, who allegedly altered family ID details in exchange for bribes. These manipulations were carried out to remove or modify information, enabling beneficiaries to exploit government schemes and other services fraudulently. The chargesheet highlights how the accused bypassed verification protocols, raising serious concerns over data integrity and systemic loopholes within the PPP framework. The investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
