condition. His wife was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, he added.

“Today morning, the hospital staff took my wife for a caesarean delivery. A few minutes later, they told me that the baby was dead,” Mandeep told mediapersons.

Vinod Kumar, the in-charge of the Arjan Nagar police post, who arrived at the hospital after receiving information about the protest, pacified the family of the newborn, assuring them of an action.

A doctor working at the hospital told mediapersons that no negligence was committed during the delivery.

“Family members of the pregnant woman were suggested that a caesarean delivery be done. However, the attendants took the decision to have a caesarean delivery late. The child didn’t cry after birth,” the doctor told mediapersons.
