Farmer activists of various khaps and farmers organisations continued their dharna at the Kheri Chopta village of the district on the second day today.

Farmer leader Suresh Koth, who was detained by the police yesterday and was released, arrived at the dharna site. Addressing the farmers, he said that he wanted the farmers to march to Delhi yesterday. But since all of them had decided to stay put at the dharna and wait for the decision of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha, he also remained at the dharna site. Another farmer activist was also released by the police.
