The protest was led by Kisan Sabha district president Preet Singh, Randhir Dhamar from BKU Rohtak, Balbir Girawar and Sushila Khasa from Kisani Pratishtha Manch, Umed Singh from Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan and Ram Chander Siwach from CITU.

In a statement, sabha secretary Sumit Dalal said protests were organised across the country against the free farm-trade agreements being imposed on India by the US.

Wearing symbolic chains of slavery, farmers and workers marched to the DC's office. Women also actively participated in the protest.
