They served an ultimatum till September 6.

Charuni appealed to the farmers to reach the mahapanchayat in UP on September 5.

He also threatened to gherao the Mini Secretariat in Karnal from September 7 if the demands were not met.

They demanded a compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the family and a job to the son of the deceased farmer.

Charuni said they would urge the SKM to take stringent action as they would not let the farmers of Haryana to be beaten mercilessly by police.

All farm unions of Haryana will raise the issue before the SKM.

Charuni demanded a financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the injured farmers.

He said the farmers would assemble in the Karnal grain market on September 7.
