Farmers’ protest: With alternative routes to Haryana also blocked, commuters forced to use village routes; huge traffic snarls seen
Patiala, February 12
With the alternative routes to Haryana also closed in view of the farmers’ Delhi Chalo march on February 13, commuters have been left with no choice but to use village routes to reach Haryana.
Even the Pehowa and Cheeka roads have been blocked by boulders, leaving commuters to use only designated routes which are witnessing huge traffic snarls since Sunday night.
Though the three Union ministers will hold talks with farmer leaders on their demands, the Haryana government is taking no chances and has blocked most of the roads passing through the state and leading to the national capital.
