A complaint in this regard was filed by Naresh Sharma, Assistant Personal Secretary to the Union Minister. The complainant alleged that some digital news platforms had been running misleading and baseless reports over the past four-five days with the intent to damage the minister’s public image.

According to Sharma, the YouTube channels aired one-sided stories without seeking any comment or version from the Union Minister’s office, violating basic journalistic ethics.

“As per the principles of fair journalism, the media is obligated to seek a response from the party concerned. However, in this case, no such attempt was made,” he stated in the complaint, urging the authorities to take strict action against those responsible.
