The agitating community members alleged that the gunman of the Mahayagya organiser fired the shot after they raised objections about the quality of the food being served.

Following the incident, a large group of Brahmin community members gathered and staged a demonstration, blocking the road outside the park. They raised slogans against the event organisers, demanding action.

The protesters, who had traveled from various states to attend the Mahayagya, claimed that the poor quality of food led to the scuffle, which eventually escalated into the firing.
