Five Central University of Haryana students get placement

Mahendragarh: Five students of B Voc, Retail and Logistics Management course, being run by the Central University of Haryana (CUH), have got placement at Warehousing Express Logistics just after completing their graduation. Vice-Chancellor Prof Tankeswar Kumar congratulated the students. Prof Pawan Kumar Maurya, coordinator, Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development, said these students were Mohit Maurya, Deepak Lal, Uttam, Sunil and Sumit Kumar.

VC releases varsity newsletter

Sirsa: Vice-Chancellor Prof Ajmer Singh Malik released the newsletter of Chaudhary Devi Lal University on Tuesday. The newsletter prepared by the students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication includes reports on activities held at the university in the past few months. The Vice-Chancellor said there was immense potential in the field of journalism. The editor of the newsletter of the university and chairperson of the JMC department, Dr Amit Sangwan, said the students had prepared the newsletter under the guidance of the editorial board.

Workshop held on film-making

Faridabad: The Department of Communication and Media Technology, (CMT) JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has organised a two-day workshop on cinematography and film-making. The workshop is being conducted by cinematography expert Navin Chand, who was part of a film that was conferred Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2017. The speaker spoke about basic parts of the camera, the production aspect and its stages, shots, scripting, screenplays, storyboard and much more. He elaborated on various aspects that go into film production.

Online poster-making competition

Faridabad- A national-level online poster-making competition was organised on the occasion of Paper Bag Day at Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh. The theme was “Say no to plastic, use eco-friendly recycled paper”. Principal Krishan Kant Gupta said as the competition was conducted online through Google, the related link was opened within a designated time period. Himanshi Dagar and Mansi from Aggarwal College got the first and second positions, respectively. Divya of Government College, Mohna, got the third position.
