Sirsa MP Kumari Selja has announced a major development plan for the region after the Central Government approved her long-standing demands. On Tuesday, she said that Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has given the green signal for several key road projects in Sirsa district, including the construction of five new bridges from Ding to Dabwali.

According to Selja, these projects are aimed at improving road safety and easing travel for residents. The official approval letter has already been received from Minister Gadkari’s office, confirming the government’s commitment to these projects.

One of the key areas that will benefit is Sahuwala village. There, a service road and an underpass will be constructed to ensure smooth and safe transportation. Additionally, safety fences will be installed along the road and signboards will be placed to mark the village boundaries clearly.

Streetlights on the road leading to Dabwali Mandi will also be repaired, making night-time travel safer for commuters and traders. This step will help improve the condition of infrastructure in rural as well as semi-urban parts of the district.

Selja said these projects would directly benefit thousands of people in the area and were an important step toward the overall development of Sirsa. She assured the public that she would continue to raise their concerns and development issues at both Parliament and with the Central Government. Her goal, she said, is to ensure better facilities and a safer environment for the people of Sirsa.
