Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to the agriculture sector ahead of the 2025-26 Budget. He assured that the double-engine government, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, will prioritise farmer welfare in the upcoming financial plan.
Rana highlighted the pre-Budget consultation meeting held by the Chief Minister at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. Discussions with farmers, scientists and farmer producer organisations resulted in over 52 suggestions aimed at improving farmer incomes and economic conditions.
The Chief Minister has also engaged with farmers to understand their challenges, assuring that actionable measures will be included in the forthcoming Budget.
