Karan Dev was upset over the denial of ticket from Radaur and Indri. He has already extended support to Congress’s Indri candidate Rakesh Kamboj.

Karan Dev also said he would work to defeat BJP candidates in both Indri and Radaur Assembly constituencies.

Karan Dev is among the leaders who openly raised voice against the ticket distribution. He had resigned as the OBC Cell state president of the BJP soon after the release of the first list as the party fielded former MLA Shyam Singh Rana from Radaur seat, who had quit the BJP in 2019 and joined it some days ago after spending almost five years in the INLD.

Karan Dev had accused the party of giving ticket to a ‘traitor’ and demanded that the government should change its decision. CM Nayab Singh Saini also visited the residence of Karan Dev to pacify him, but to no avail. Later, Karan Dev was called to Delhi, where he again raised the issue.
