Former Narwana MLA Prithi Singh joins BJP in Rohtak

Two-time former MLA from Narwana Prithi Singh Nambardar on Thursday quit the INLD and joined the BJP at the party’s state headquarter ‘Mangal Kamal’ here in presence of Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli and Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala.

Prithi was elected MLA on the INLD ticket first in 2009 and then in 2014 Assembly polls.

Khattar said former MLA and his supporters would be given due respect in the BJP.

“The BJP is a party of workers. We have been winning elections continuously on the strength of workers,” said Badoli.

Pirthi also assured the BJP leaders that he and his supporters would work hard to ensure the victory of the party candidate with a huge majority in Narwana Assembly constituency. Besides Pirthi, those others joined the BJP include Jagmal Singh, Sanjay Kalwan, AMP Kalwan, Sunil Kalwan, Virendra, Rajiv Sharma, Satish, Kala, Sukhwinder, Balindra, Amit, Monu, Pawan and Rammehar.

Meanwhile, Shamsher Kharak, BJP state co-media incharge, claimed that Haryana Brahmin Mahasabha president Surendra Sharma Barota along with several other leaders of Brahmin community joined the BJP today.
