Former Pataudi MLA and former chairman of Haryana Education Board Rambir Singh resigned from the priority membership of the Congress on Saturday. Accusing the party of nepotism, he announced his resignation in a press conference at his residence in Pataudi.
He claimed that there was no possibility of the Congress returning to power in the country, and the state in the next 10 years.
He said he would contest the municipal council elections as an Independent candidate, and being a local, he was aware of the problems of the area and could get development work done better than other candidates.
