Four Bills to be tabled during monsoon session in Haryana Assembly

Chandigarh, August 13

Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta today said nine calling attention notices had been received for the upcoming monsoon session, while the government would introduce four Bills.

The Bills are related to the urban local bodies, industries, proposed Maharshi Valmiki Sanskrit Vidyalaya and the Lokayukta Act. Badshahpur MLA Rakesh Daultabad and Deputy Congress Legislative Party leader Aftab Ahmed would bring private member’s Bills too.

The Speaker took out a draw of questions for the three-day session. A total of 238 starred and 120 unstarred questions were received. Of them, questions related to 60 MLAs were chosen.

“The draw is taken out to bring transparency,” said the Speaker.
