Once a simple young man from Fatehabad, Jasbir, alias Jackey,

had a significant change after leaving Tibbi village for a security guard job in Gurugram. Although he completed his 12th grade and enrolled in college, his life took a turn for worse when he got involved in criminal activities. He was arrested in Delhi for a violent altercation, but his family bailed him out. Over time, his behaviour became more dangerous, and his father, Krishna Kumar Jangra, a small farmer, decided to disown him.

Jasbir’s mother, Anguri Devi, who earns a living through sewing, still has a soft spot for her son despite his criminal behaviour. The couple had hoped for a better life through their son, but their dreams were shattered as Jasbir’s involvement in gang wars increased.

Jasbir was shot four times in the encounter and is now being treated at PGIMS, Rohtak. Strangely, no family member visited him in the hospital. Jasbir had a criminal history involving robberies, assaults, and gang wars in areas like Hisar, Gurugram, and Rohtak.
