Gangster brought to Yamunanagar from Gurugram

A team of the Special Task Force (STF) brought gangster Virender Pratap Singh, alias Kala Rana, on a production warrant from Bhondsi jail of Gurugram, here today.

Amid heavy police security, he was produced before a court in Jagadhri, which sent him to four-day police custody. He was reportedly brought here in connection with a triple murder case, which took place at Khedi Lakha Singh village, falling under Radaur subdivision of the district.

Some shooters killed three persons, who were reportedly associated with liquor business, near the police post of Khedi Lakha Singh village on December 26, 2024. Kala Rana is facing several criminal cases, including murder, robbery and extortion.

According to information, after presenting him in the court, the STF took him to Karnal, but the team shared no information with the media.
