A leakage was detected in a Piped Natural Gas (PNG) pipeline in Rohtak on Friday, following a swift response from the authorities.

The leak was discovered during an inspection of the pipeline.

A pit was dug and filled with water to contain the gas leakage.

Fire engines and a police party also reached the spot soon after being informed of the leakage.

The gas supply was subsequently shut off at the source, enabling technicians to repair the damaged section of the pipeline.
