Get Backward Classes certificate online now in Haryana

Data of 22L families registered so far: CM

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday launched the online service for the issuance of Parivar Pehchan Patra-based Backward Classes (BC) Certificates.

With the launch of this service, people of the state do not have to make rounds of the government offices as getting these certificates is just a click away. The citizens would certainly be more benefitted with this online service, said Khattar.

After the launch of the online service, the Chief Minister said so far, the data of 22 lakh families belonging to the Backward Classes had been registered on the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). Of these, the income of 19 lakh families had been verified through the PPP. Their data had been updated. These families could get their Backward Class Certificate made through the Saral Portal.

The Chief Minister said the work of income verification of the remaining families was still going on, while such families whose income verification was yet to be done and if they wished to have a Backward Class Certificate, they could apply for the same through the Saral portal as soon as their income got verified. He said after the verification, the certificates of all such families would be issued on a priority basis. The online BC certificates would have the Additional Deputy Commissioner’s signatures, said Khattar.
