Glasgow summit a watershed event for electric vehicles industry, says eWheelers CEO

Vasu Deva Reddy Beerala, Founder and CEO, eWheelers, one of India’s largest electric vehicles marketplace eWheelers Mobility Solutions, has termed the Glasgow Climate Summit a watershed event for the electric vehicles (EVs) industry.

“COP26 climate summit which is presently going on in Glasgow has put the spotlight on the importance of EVs in the present context. I am happy that senior Indian motor industry representatives have spoken about India’s vision regarding EVs at Glasgow. A plan of nearly two-thirds of new vehicles to be electric by 2030 has been promulgated and this will present a huge opportunity for all those connected with the EV industry,” said Beerala, who company has operations in Haryana.
