Good Governance Day: Kaithal top performing district in state
Kaithal has bagged the first position among the top performing districts in Haryana while Fatehabad and Jhajjar are placed second and third.
These districts and other departments will be awarded with the state-level awards on Good Governance Day at a function to be organised in Gurugram tomorrow.
Official sources said a team comprising Gurvinder Singh, City Magistrate, and Deepak Khurana, IT Director, National Informatics Centre (NIC), will receive the prize from CM Nayab Singh Saini.
Shyamkal, District Revenue Officer, and Rajesh Sihag, Deputy Director, Agriculture, will represent Fatehabad at the function, while a team comprising Ravinder Malik, SDM, Beri, Rajesh Kumar, Amit Bandal, Varinder Singh Yadav and Jeet Pal will represent Jhajjar.
The Mukhya Mantri Shehri Awas Yojana of the Housing for All Department has bagged the top honours in the State Flagship Scheme category. Ruchi Singh Bedi, Additional Director, and team members Mahender Singh, Aman Godara, Harpreet Singh, Sandeep Kunar, Rajeev Sharma, Satish Kumar Poonia, Ritu Bhatia, Nikita Malhotra and Vishwas Srivastava will be felicitated.
The Tohana Paddy Stubble Management Peoject of the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department has been placed second in this category. Prateek Hooda, SDM, will lead the team comprising Mukesh Mahla, Ajay Dhillon, Rameshwar Dass, Sanjay Selwal, Parminder Singh and Suman.
The Haryana Project Monitoring System (HPMS) portal (to implement and monitor Rs 100 crore+ projects for timely completion) of the Monitoring and Coordination Cell of the General Administration Department will be awarded the third prize. A team led by Tarun Kumar Pawaria, Joint Secretary, will lead the team comprising Dharmender Singh, Amit Kumar, Jitesh Bhardwaj and Nishant Mittal.
The Monthly Pass System and Waste to Wonder Park of the Ambala MC is being awarded the fourth prize. Led by Ravinder Singh, Executive Officer, the team comprises Harish Sharma, Vinod Beniwal, Ritu Sharma and Raman Sharma.
The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will get the award for its waiver of monthly minimum charges scheme. Deepak Popli, will led the team consisting of Manjeet Singh, Arun, Kowal Krishan and Pradeep Kumar.
In the state-level award, the Haryana Mines and Geology Information System of the Mines and Geology Department will bag the top honours. Madhwi Gupta, State Mining Engineer, will lead a team comprising Sanjay Simberwal, Rohit, Vikas, Kuldeep and Komel.
The NIPUN Haryana Mission Monitoring System of the Haryana Shoksha Paroyojna Parishad will get the second prize. Kuldeep Mehta, Assistant Director (Academic), will receive the award along with team members Rajeev Vats and Parmod Kumar.
