Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh visited the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Kharkali village in the district on Friday and reviewed the facilities being provided at the centre and described the services as satisfactory and effective.
He interacted with doctors and paramedical staff, urging them to work with dedication to further improve healthcare delivery.
At the PHC, he inspected the OPD register and reviewed the availability of medicines. He spoke to tuberculosis patients undergoing treatment. He advised the homoeopathy doctor to ensure proper treatment at the initial stage of illness and to pay special attention to TB patients. The Governor also visited the vaccination room and checked the storage of medicines.
