Haryana State Council for Child Welfare vice-chairperson and Chief Minister’s wife Suman Saini reiterated the government's commitment towards women empowerment during her visit to Bal Bhavan in Karnal on Tuesday. She inspected various ongoing projects, including the day-care centre, digital library, beauty parlour, and fashion designing centre, and lauded their functioning. Interacting with young women undergoing training, she appreciated their enthusiasm and efforts toward self-reliance.

At the day-care centre, she participated in a birthday celebration for a child, cutting a cake to mark the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Saini emphasised that the government remained steadfast in its mission to empower women. She highlighted several initiatives undertaken over the past 10 years to uplift women and praised the state’s recent Budget for its focus on the welfare of women, farmers, and other sections of society.

After her arrival at Bal Bhavan, she was welcomed newly elected Mayor Renu Bala Gupta, former BJP officiating district president Brij Gupta, district president Parveen Lather, Haryana Welfare Society for Persons with Speech and Hearing Impairment vice president and chairperson Megha Bhandari, and other office bearers. She congratulated Renu Bala Gupta on her re-election as Mayor and to Praveen Lather on becoming the district BJP president.
