Haryana Tourism and Co-operation Minister Dr Arvind Sharma on Monday said the state government was working on various projects to promote and develop Kurukshetra as a tourist destination.

He was here in Kurukshetra to pay obeisance at the Shaktipeeth Maa Bhadrakali Temple and offer prayers on the occasion of the first Navratri. He was accompanied by former Minister of State Subhash Sudha.

Sharma stated that Kurukshetra was recognised worldwide for its religious and tourism significance. Along with this holy land of Kurukshetra, the state was experiencing all-round development in every sector.

The minister further stated, “The government is working on numerous projects to develop Kurukshetra as well as the entire state from a tourism perspective.”
