Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda has claimed that the Congress’ poll programmes are being disrupted by the district administration concerned by not making proper police arrangement for that. It is happening almost every day.

“We had the permission to land our chopper in Pundri for a poll meeting but no police arrangement was made there. It forced the chopper to take off immediately after dropping us there. It is not good for democracy. We too have an equal right to do canvassing for our candidates. We will approach the Election Commission of India in this respect,” said Deepender while talking to the media here today.

Earlier, the MP addressed a series of poll meetings in various villages of Beri and Badli Assembly constituencies.

He said the day which was eagerly awaited by the people of Haryana has arrived. “The people of Haryana have decided to get rid of the unjust, tyrannical government of the BJP. In the greed of power, many big people bowed down or sold themselves to dictatorial forces, but we stood firm and kept fighting them,” he added.

Deepender said senior BJP leaders from Delhi were coming to Haryana only to get votes, none of them was telling about the work done by the BJP government in 10 years. “We are still seeking votes by talking about our work. The Hooda-led Congress government set up thermal plants, built AIIMS hospital, laid railway lines, and connected four cities of the state with Metro. But the BJP did not build even a single pillar of the Metro for 10 years,” he said.

In Dighal village, he announced that when the Congress comes to power, ITI, college, Beri-Sampla four lane and 132 KV powerhouse would be built and the Metro would be extended to Sampla.

Deepender said high unemployment in the state happened because there was neither any investment in the private sector, nor was there any government employment. “The result of this was that the youth of the state were forced to migrate through the donkey route. In the name of recruitment, the youth were exploited and given dates after dates,” he added.
