Rajpal lauded the efforts of the Karnal district authorities for spraying nano urea on 6,000 acres out of the total target of 7,000 acres and praised their work. “We have set a target of spraying nano-urea on one lakh acres across the state. Karnal is doing tremendous work in nano spraying. Other districts have also been asked to expedite the work to achieve their targets,” said Rajpal while interacting with the media.

The ACS, when asked why the drone pilots were not getting subsidies to purchase drones, said they would ensure that the drone pilots received the subsidies. “The department will consider providing subsidies to the drone pilots for purchasing the drones, and provisions for this will be made under a scheme. It will encourage more people to become drone pilots,” said the ACS. He was accompanied by Raj Narayan Kaushik, Director of the department.
