Chaman Vatika Gurukul organised its annual day ‘Swarnim Bharat: Ateet Bhi-Swapan Bhi’ The cultural presentation depicted victories and lost battles of India, bringing home the idea that Indians have always put in relentless efforts to lead the nation towards the pinnacle of success in all the fields.

The Governor of Gujarat, Aacharya Devvrat, who was the chief guest on this occasion, appreciated the girls for their commendable performance and urged them to work wholeheartedly to build a stronger and progressive nation.

School’s spokesperson said the girls of Chaman Vatika Gurukul proved that they possess the ability to make a mark in a wide variety of fields like music, acting, dance, karate and other forms of martial arts.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
