A Mahapanchayat of Gurjar community, held in Bakhapur village on Sunday, decided to ban the playing of DJ music and the distribution of liquor at weddings. Additionally, liquor shops will not be allowed within the village limits.

Other resolutions included halting the traditional custom of distributing utensils and the practice of giving chhuchhak (gifts for newborns), as well as stopping the distribution of utensils on the night of Chhathi for a newborn boy.

The Mahapanchayat also decided to socially boycott those who do not adhere to its decisions. This decision was met with support from many attendees, including representatives from nearby villages, who also provided their suggestions during the meeting.
