Gurugram forms panel for land record digitisation

The Gurugram MC has formed a special panel to oversee and maintain records on the Municipal Asset Management System (MAMS) portal, established by the Department of Urban Local Bodies (DULB), Haryana.

The panel will ensure precise maintenance of municipal land documentation on the portal, and will also supervise and assess municipal land utilisation.

The panel will be chaired by Chief Town Planner Sanjeev Mann, while Deputy Town Planner Siddharth Khandelwal and Tehsildar Harkesh Gupta (retd) will serve as panel members.

“The committee shall ensure that all municipal land records are accurately updated and maintained on the MAMS portal. Any discrepancies or missing data must be identified and rectified at the earliest. The committee shall review and assess the current usage of municipal land and provide detailed reports to the undersigned. Reports should include details such as occupancy, lease agreements, encroachments (if any), and land zoning classification. The committee shall submit a brief report every week to the undersigned, detailing the progress made on record maintenance and land usage analysis,” read an order issued in this regard by MC Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya.
