Gurugram records third Covid case

Another Covid case was confirmed in Gurugram on Friday. The 45-year-old patient, who is vaccinated, is a resident of Wazirabad village.

Covid was detected in two other patients in the last three days — a 31-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man.

The woman had returned from Mumbai a few days ago, and the elderly man had been suffering from fever for several days. Both patients have been isolated at home.

The Health Department has sent samples of both patients to a lab for genome sequencing.

Civil Surgeon Dr Alka Singh said both patients had tested positive incidentally.
