Gurugram seals one of biggest housing deals in country at Rs 380 crore

Gurugram has made headlines in the realty world yet again for clocking one of the biggest housing deals in the country. A Delhi-NCR-based businessman has purchased four luxury apartments in DLF’s super-luxury project, The Dahlias, in Gurugram for a reported price of around Rs 380 crore.

This deal follows DLF’s Camellias, which had also recorded a Rs 190 crore penthouse sale, surpassing Delhi for the first time. The Dahlias is DLF’s latest upcoming super-luxury project located on Golf Course Road within Golf Links in Gurugram. DLF’s Golf Links is also home to other high-rise developments such as The Camellias, The Aralias, and The Magnolias.

While DLF has not issued any statement on the latest deal, real estate consultancy and brokerage firm Rizin Advisory facilitated the transaction. Kshitij Jain, founder of Rizin Advisory, confirmed advising on the transaction. According to Jain, the deal, executed in the first week of October, includes four combined apartments, each other with an area of 9,600 sq ft, spanning a combined 38,400 sq ft area. The per square foot transaction price translates to around Rs 1 lakh per sq ft.

Sources claim that the family was initially exploring a bungalow or farmhouse in Lutyens’ Delhi but, as discussions progressed, they became more inclined towards a luxury condominium that offered comparable space, privacy, and pedigree, yet with stronger long-term value and convenience. The buyer has a presence across multiple industries, including plastics, chemicals, and fertilisers, among others.

Spanning approximately 7.5 million sq ft, The Dahlias project features 420 super-luxury residences across 29 levels and 8 towers, including 15 duplex penthouses and a clubhouse. Earlier this year, DLF announced pre-launch sales of Rs 11,816 crore for The Dahlias. Reports suggest that former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has also purchased an apartment at DLF’s latest super-luxury offering in Gurugram, The Dahlias.
