Gurugram, June 16
The Gurugram police nabbed two men for stealing mobile phones worth Rs 1.5 lakh from a shop on the pretext of buying these. The police have recovered two stolen mobile phones from their possession and the accused are being questioned.
According to the police, on June 12, Manjeet Singh filed a complaint at the Udyog Vihar police station as he has a mobile shop in Dundahera. It was on June 9 at around 9.30 pm a person came to his shop and asked him to show a mobile phone. He showed mobile phones of different models and he stole 2 iPhones worth 1.5 lakh from his shop. An FIR was registered under relevant sections of the IPC at the Udyog Vihar police station.
A police team led by Sub-inspector Dalpat Singh, Incharge of the crime unit, Manesar, arrested two accused Yuvraj and Kapil last late evening from Jharsa and Kharkhari. They helped in stealing the mobile phones.
Police spokesperson Subhash Bokan said two stolen mobile phones have been recovered from their possession. The accused will be produced before the court.
