Harassed, man shoots himself

Hisar, August 28

A man who was upset due to dowry demands by the in-laws of his daughter committed suicide by shooting himself at his residence in Talwandi Rana village of the district today.

The victim was identified as Mangtu Ram (45). His son Vinay lodged a complaint that his father was being harassed by the in-laws of his sister. A case was registered against the victims’son-in-law Inderpal and three others. — TNS
