Haryana Assembly to go paperless
Chandigarh: Haryana has become 16th state in the country to introduce paperless functioning of Legislative Assembly. In this direction on Thursday, a tripartite MoU was signed between the Ministry of Parliamentary Affair, Haryana Government and Haryana Legislative Assembly for the implementation of National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA). Vidhan Sabha Speaker Gian Chand Gupta said the expenses on this project costing Rs 20 crore would be provided by the Centre and state in the ratio of 60:40. TNS
Youth found dead near Karnal
Karnal: A 24-year-old youth was found dead on the outskirts of Kutail village in the district on Thursday morning. The deceased was identified as Rohit of the same village. Rohit was live streaming on his social media account with friends having liquor around 2 am on Thursday. His family members alleged that he was murdered. TNS
