The BJP on Saturday replaced party presidents of six district, includingSirsa, Jind, Hisar, Rewari, Kurukshetra and Kaithal.

The Legislative Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in the stste in October to elect the 90 members.

The tenure of Haryana Legislative Assembly would end on November 3. The last state election was held in October 2019.

After the election, a coalition of Bharatiya Janata Party and Jannayak Janta Party formed the state government, with Manohar Lal Khattar becoming the Chief Minister, while in March this year, the BJP and JJP alliance collapsed and Khattar resigned as the CM.

Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in the new Chief Minister the same day.
