The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani, today declared the Class XII results. The pass percentage this time remained 100.
Last year, the state had recorded a pass percentage of 80.34 which was nearly 6 per cent higher than the pass percentage (74.48) of 2019. In 2018, the pass percentage was 63.84.
The board this year did not conduct the Class XII examinations due to the Covid pandemic and the results have been created on the basis of the 30:10:60 formula. As per the official notification, the Class XII marks have been calculated on the basis of marks obtained in Class X (30 per cent) and XI (10 per cent) final examinations, and the internal assessment marks (60 per cent) obtained in Class XII.
There are no toppers this time. In all, 13,503 students have scored between 95 and 99 per cent as per the alternative means of assessment.
Dr Jagbir Singh, BSEH chairman, said: “The detailed marksheet will be issued to students soon.”
In all, 49,233 students have scored between 90 and 94 per cent. The maximum of 1,27,160 students are in the 80-89 per cent bracket. There are 61 students in the lowest slab of 33-39%.
The Class XII examinations were scheduled in March, but the papers had to be cancelled because of the second wave of Covid.
The BSEH chairman said 2,21,263 Class XII students — 1,14,416 boys and 1,06,847 girls — had enrolled for the examinations.
“Some schools have failed to furnish complete details of students. So, the result of 4,714 students has been withheld. They have been allotted pass marks, but their result will be declared once the schools provide the board with the required information,” said Dr Singh.
Students who had enrolled for the self-study mode have also passed the examinations.
