Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday hoisted the Tricolour on the 75th Republic Day in Police Lines ground here.

The CM inspected the parade.

While addressing a gathering, he paid tributes to the jawans who had scarified their lives for the country.

He lauded the efforts of farmers, scientists and youth in the development of the country.

“I feel proud to have hoisted the flag on Republic Day in Karnal for the first time. I love the people of Karnal. It is the land of Karan who was a great alms-giver. I extend my greeting to the people of Haryana,” said the CM.

The CM also highlighted the contribution of astronaut Kalpana Chawla.
