Haryana CM launches online RTI portal

Chandigarh, January 24

Haryana CM ML Khattar today launched a pilot project for those seeking information under the Right to Information (RTI) Act in the form of an online RTI portal. State Information Commissioner Arun Sangwan apprised the CM that the information would be put on the portal by the SPIO as first appeal. The second appeal would be heard by the State Information Commissioner’s office. Anyone can register by logging on to the portal http://rtiharyana.gov.in. —

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
