Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini predicts one-sided BJP victory in municipal election
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has expressed confidence that BJP will win the upcoming municipal election by a landslide, citing a “one-sided atmosphere” in the state in favour of the party.
While addressing ‘Nomination Rally’ of BJP's mayoral candidate Komal Saini and 26 candidates for the councillor’' post, CM Saini appealed to the people to support BJP candidates in their wards and vote for the mayoral candidate. He claimed that the huge turnout at the nomination rally was a showcase of people’s trust and excitement towards the BJP's policies and Prime Minister Modi's guarantees.
BJP is going to win continuously for the third time in the state on March 12.
CM Saini was addressing the ‘Nomination Rally’ of BJP’s mayoral candidate Komal Saini and 26 candidates for the councillors’ post at the election office on NH-44.
BJP’s state chief Mohan Lal Badoli, Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, MLA Pramod Vij, BJP state general secretary Dr Archna Gupta, former MP Sanjay Bhatia and district president Dushyant Bhatt were also present during the rally.
After the rally, a procession was organised from the election office to the mini secretariat. BJP’s mayoral candidate Komal Saini filed her nomination before the returning officer and SDM Braham Prakash in the presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, BJP’s state chief Mohan Lal Badoli, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda and MLA Pramod Vij.
While addressing the gathering, the CM appealed to the people to support BJP candidates in their wards and vote for the mayoral candidate Komal Saini. He claimed that the huge turnout at the nomination rally was a showcase of people’s trust and excitement towards BJP’s policies and Modi’s guarantees.
Taking a dig at the Congress and AAP, he said the Congress has become a “tweet master party” with no ground presence, while AAP has no work to do. He further claimed that senior Congress leaders are joining BJP in large numbers, trusting the party’s policies.
BJP has made 21 promises in its manifesto, including providing clean potable water, cleanliness, and development works in all civic bodies. CM Saini assured that the party would fulfil these promises on priority.
The municipal polls are scheduled to take place on March 2, with results expected on March 12.
