Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini visits martyr Pradeep’s kin

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today expressed solidarity with the family of martyr Lance Naik Pradeep Nain, Army para commando, of Jajanwala village of Jind district.

The Chief Minister reached the house of martyr Pradeep Nain today evening. Consoling the family members, the CM said martyr Pradeep has brought pride to the state and his village. “We are proud of those brave soldiers of Haryana who do not care even about their lives for the country,” he said, while giving solace to the family.

The CM said Pradeep showed great bravery during an encounter with terrorists and attained martyrdom. The state government is with the family in every way.

Army jawan Pradeep Nain was killed on July 6 during an encounter with the terrorists in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Pradeep Nain had joined the Army in 2015.

Later, during interaction with mediapersons, the CM said the Haryana Government is committed to extending financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the families of martyrs as per the policy of the state government. While one member of the family will be given the government job, he said adding that the Central government, state government and the Army will always be ready to fulfil their duty towards the entire family of martyr Pradeep as per the rules.

Pradeep was the only son of his parents. He is survived by his wife Manisha, who is three-month pregnant besides parents and a younger sister.

Former MP Ashok Tanwar, MLA Ram Niwas Surjakheda, Jind DC Mohammad Imran Raza, SP Sumit Kumar, SDM of Narwana Anil Duhan, village sarpanch Janak Nain, head of Sarvajaati Binain Khap Raghubir Nain along with other prominent people also paid tributes to the martyr.
