The All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2025-26 continued with exciting competitions in bodybuilding, arm wrestling and wrestling at the Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban. The valedictory function will be organised on Wednesday, which will be chaired by chief guest Nayab Singh Saini.
In the men bodybuilding competition of 90-kg category, Rakesh Kumar of the Haryana Police won gold medal, Rinku Bhati of UP police secured silver and R Vivek of Tamil Nadu police won bronze. In the 100-kg category of weightlifting, Anil Malik of Haryana Police won gold medal, while Amrinder Singh of Punjab secured silver and Om Parkash of UP police third with a bronze medal.
In the 55kg category, Santosh Kumar Babonga of the Jharkhand Police won the gold medal, while in 60-kg category, P Nandajit Singh of the Manipur Police secured the top position. Pramanand of the CISF bagged gold in the 65 kg class, and Arambamb Sushil Kumar Singh of the CRPF clinched gold in the 70-kg category. Other winners included Dayalal KD of the Kerala Police (75 kg), Ajay Rawat of the Madhya Pradesh Police (80 kg), A Purushothaman of the Tamil Nadu Police (85 kg).
In the women bodybuilding events, Sunaina Dongre of Maharashtra Police won gold in the 55-kg category. In the category of above 55-kg weight, Sneha Karnale of the Maharashtra Police bagged gold medal. The arm wrestling competitions also witnessed intense contests. In the men’s 80-kg category, Amalanjit Bhorthakur of the Assam Police won gold, while in the women 55-kg category, Jumoni Das of the Assam Police emerged the winner.
