Haryana Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Krishan Lal Middha on Sunday criticised former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of misleading people and securing power in Delhi through lies.

Speaking to the media in Rohtak, Middha expressed confidence that the BJP would form the next government in Delhi, stating that the people of Delhi had been suffering for the past 10 years and were eagerly waiting for the elections to remove the AAP government.

“There is no doubt that the BJP will form the government in Delhi this time. The people have suffered enough and are ready to oust AAP from power,” Middha asserted.

Middha further launched a scathing attack on Kejriwal, calling him the biggest liar in the country. He alleged that Kejriwal deceived the public to win elections in Delhi twice.

“Like a juggler, Kejriwal convinced everyone that he was the right person. But if he were truly a great leader, why would even his own people abandon him?” he said.

The Deputy Speaker also took issue with Kejriwal’s remarks about pollution in the Yamuna, calling them misleading.

“Kejriwal accused Haryana of releasing poisonous water into the Yamuna. A person who can falsely accuse his own birthplace can easily accuse anyone else,” Middha said.

Earlier in the day, Middha attended the annual festival of Shiksha Bharti School as the chief guest, where he emphasised the transformative power of education.

“Education is a priceless gift that has the power to change both the direction and condition of a person’s life. Culture, on the other hand, forms the essence of life and plays a crucial role in shaping an individual’s personality,” he said.

He stressed that education and culture complement each other, adding that they were essential for personal and societal growth.

The event featured various cultural performances by students, starting with a traditional “Ganesh Vandana”, followed by a Haryanvi dance and a special presentation. The highlight of the event was a short play on the life of Ahilya Bai Holkar, paying tribute to the historical figure.
