Chandigarh, February 22
Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam want to retain current power charges despite revenue gap of Rs 4,000 crore.
The discoms, while praying for continuation of existing level of tariff and charges from consumers in their Multi-Year Tariff Petition and Annual Performance Review for 2019-20 before the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC), proposed to meet the revenue gap through operational financing as suggested in UDAY schemes. “We are not seeking any change in tariff plans,” said UHBVN Director SK Bansal. — TNS
