Haryana Government takes strict action against officials involved in paper leak
The Haryana Government has taken swift and severe action against officials involved in the paper leak incident during the Haryana School Education Board examination. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the suspension of 25 police officers and personnel, including four DSPs and three SHOs, found guilty in connection with the case.
In addition to the suspensions, FIRs have been lodged against four invigilators from government schools and one invigilator from a private school. All four government school invigilators have been suspended, and the services of two centre supervisors have been placed under suspension.
Furthermore, FIRs have been registered against four outsiders and eight students accused of cheating or facilitating the paper leak at various examination centres. The Chief Minister assured that the investigation is ongoing and that strict instructions have been issued to DCs and DSPs to prevent any individual from approaching examination centres.
The instructions mandate that individuals must remain at least 500 metres away from examination centres. If any complaints are received, the concerned district administration will be held accountable. The paper leak incidents occurred on February 27 (English language paper) and February 28 (Mathematics paper).
