Haryana Govt allots residential plots to 4,533 beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana
The Haryana Government has allotted plots to 4,533 beneficiaries across 20 districts through a draw under the Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0.
“The Chief Minister's vision is that no poor person in Haryana should remain without a roof. The government is continuously making efforts in this direction. Following the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is fully committed to its goal of providing houses to the poor and it will be accomplished in a phased manner,” said a government spokesperson.
In the first phase of the Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0, residential plots of 100 square yards have been allotted to all eligible applicants of gram panchayats of Ambala, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Gurugram, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Narnaul, Nuh, Palwal, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonipat and Yamunanagar districts.
Similarly, residential plots of 100 square yards have been allotted to all eligible applicants of nomadic caste, widow and Scheduled Castes of Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Rohtak and Hisar districts. Apart from this, residential plots of 50-50 square yards were allotted to all eligible applicants of Mahagram Panchayat Bahal.
Giving information, a government spokesperson said that a total of 166 eligible beneficiaries in Ambala district, 268 in Bhiwani, 143 in Charkhi Dadri, 313 in Fatehabad, 16 in Gurugram, 480 in Hisar, 26 in Jhajjar, 545 in Jind, 204 in Kaithal, 316 in Karnal, 186 in Kurukshetra, 85 in Narnaul, 65 in Nuh, 17 in Palwal, 314 in Panipat, 134 in Rewari, 176 in Rohtak, 370 in Sirsa, 678 in Sonipat and 31 eligible beneficiaries in Yamunanagar district have been allotted residential plots through draw.
